Power of MICR!

Magnetic Ink Character Recognition or MICR, and phonetically uttered as pronounced “My-Ker”, is a kind of specialized magnetic toner, which is put to use for printing the bank checks on normal papers. The MICR toner ink is used to print codes, on your bank checks, so that it can be scanned and processed by the OMR machines installed in the banks. The HP MICR has come up with innovative range of specialized toners for different categories of laser printers. You have the MICR working on different series of HP printers such as HP C8061X MICR Toner for HP 4100 Series, HP Q1338A MICR for HP 4200 Series, HP Q1339A MICR for HP 4300 Series,

HP C8543X MICR for HP 1300 Series and many more.

While printing with HP MICR, you have to check the paper, on whether it is properly fixed in the tray sheet. If the paper is not in a proper position, you may not get the correctly printed check at all. It is also to check paper quality so that at the end, what people get is a rightly coded bank check. If not, they will be paying out from their pockets, service charges for rejected checks.
