When you arrive at your university you may be overwhelmed with everything going on. One particular event that is especially overwhelming is rush. This is the time, usually at the beginning of the semester, when young women rush their favorite sorority. Really, rush is like applying at various sororities and trying to make the best impression possible. Then, the sororities choose who they want to be part of their sorority and each girl must make a decision as to where she wants to be. Sorority clothing is usually given to a young woman once she decides to be part of a particular sorority. This Greek clothing shows the rest of campus exactly where the young woman belongs and what sorority she is part of. T-shirts signifying rush and the dates are a great way for young women to remember this very special time for the rest of their lives. It is because of this that sorority clothing is so popular. It not only serves as a way for the campus to know which sorority each woman belongs to but it also serves as an eternal reminder of that particular time.
